Anna Balan, Head of CargoBooking at Awery Aviation Software, has received the Rising Star Award from The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) at the TIACA Executive Summit 2026 in Warsaw. The award recognises professionals under 35 who demonstrate excellence and significant contribution to the air cargo industry.
Anna leads the development of CargoBooking, the air cargo booking platform connecting airline capacity and freight forwarder demand in real time. Under her leadership, the platform has advanced automation and transparency in booking workflows, helping freight forwarders and airlines manage capacity and demand more efficiently through one connected system.
